Gift boxes for Welcome Housing
Welcome Housing offers deeply affordable housing and supportive services right here in HRM.
Our church’s goal? 40+ gift boxes for Welcome Housing. If you are able to prepare a gift, please deliver it to the church by Sunday, Dec. 17.
Each gift should be a shoebox packed with new items.
Here are some ideas: socks, hat, mittens, gloves, scarves, slippers, mug, playing cards, magazines, puzzle books, tooth paste, tooth brush, soap, lip gloss, deodorant, gift cards, bus tickets, chocolate, candies, key chains, teas or instant coffee packets, Tim Horton’s gift card.
Please ensure all items included are new. Please specify on the outside of the box if your gift is gender-specific (male or female identifying).
Gifts can arrive wrapped and labelled, or unwrapped.
To participate, be sure to bring your gift to church by Sunday, Dec. 17.
