…about that hurtful pamphlet
We were shocked, too.
We were recently made aware of a hateful pamphlet being shared around Halifax by a group that has a similar name to All Nations Church, Halifax.
Perhaps you received it by direct mail, or saw one lying around, or–like us– were alarmed to hear about it from a concerned neighbour.

We did not produce or distribute that pamphlet.
We wouldn’t.
The words, the images, and the ideas do not reflect our understanding of the Bible, of God’s grace, or of our relationship with the world.
As followers of Jesus, we feel moved and called to offer a sincere welcome, meaningful care, and a spirit of community to our neighbours, and especially to those who may feel marginalized, unwanted, or invisible.
We see Halifax growing in beautiful ways, richer because of its diversity.
If you felt targeted, disrespected, or worried by that pamphlet, we want you to know…
We believe that our neighborhood is better because you are part of it.
