Pentecost Sunday: Kite-flying!

In the Christian calendar, Pentecost celebrates the day when God gave the gift of the Holy Spirit, and the church was born. Read more in Acts 2. The story begins with a surprising and mighty wind.

With that windy, wonderful moment in mind, we’re going kite-flying!

All ages are welcome to gather on Citadel Hill for an informal BYO picnic lunch and an afternoon of kite-flying, good company, and fresh air.

We meet on the side of the hill nearest Citadel High School. Plan to bring a kite if you have one, a snack/lunch and water bottle, sun protection, and a blanket or cushion.
