Giving Your Offering at All Nations
Give Regularly –
On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.
1 Corinthians 16:2
Give of Your First Fruits – Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1
Give Generously –
Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity.
2 Corinthians 8:2
Give Proportionately – For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. 2 Corinthians 8:3
Give Cheerfully – Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

About Offerings at All Nations
The black and white “Church Fund” envelope and the first basket at the morning offering go towards Ministries at All Nations.
The red and white “Designated Cause” envelope and second basket go towards the ministry pre-selected for that particular Sunday.
Both envelopes can be given at either the morning or evening service.
Contributions can be made to the Benevolence Fund, Debt Reduction Fund, or the Building Fund at any time simply by writing the name of the cause and your envelope number on a plain envelope or re-labelling an unused one from your church envelope set.
Occasionally changes to offering schedule need to be made after the schedule is printed and circulated. Please check the bulletin the week prior to the collection of the offering.
If you wish to give to a cause but are absent that Sunday please pass your envelope on to a friend to put into the basket for you. Placing the offering the Sunday before or the Sunday after is also acceptable, but please do not go beyond this three-week span.
Writing one cheque and requesting that the amount be split between two different causes is not possible because of our collection counting and recording system. When using cheques, please use a separate one for each cause.
About PAR
Welcome to PAR (Pre-Authrorized Remittance).
The PAR program allows you to make regular contributions to any or all of our Church’s funds without the need to drop an envelope in the offering basket each Sunday. If you have pre-arranged automated debits from your bank account for things like utility bills, insurance or credit cards, then you already understand the principle.
Signing up for PAR is easy. We have created a simple form,
attached to this letter, which allows you to authorize All Nations to debit your bank account on the 20th of each month in the amount you specify for any or all of the four funds that support this congregation. You can decide to contribute monthly to any or all of the following with PAR:
- Ministries (General) Fund
- Benevolence Fund
- Debt Reduction Fund
- Building Fund
For you as a contributor, PAR participation enables:
- regular and ongoing support of All Nations ministry expenses
in the amounts you decide - assurance that your tithes and offerings continue,
even when you are away.
For our Church, the advantages are:
- regular and dependable flow of contributions
to help smooth out giving over the year - better opportunity for budget and expenditure management
- reduced paper work both for the Treasurer
and the weekly collection counters - streamlined, automated and secure banking arrangements
without additional fees.
Please note that all other Special or Designated Cause collections will continue to be received through the baskets and of course, those not participating in PAR can continue to give to our congregational funds this way as well. If you are “on PAR,” you are welcome to drop your empty offering envelope in the basket on Sundays if you wish to do that as a way of participating in giving as an act of worship. We will also provide small reusable cards for this purpose.
